Larry McManus, renowned singer, jazz pianist and arranger based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., has a long career in the music industry that has taken him from Las Vegas to New York, to sailing the high seas, always providing entertainment in an elegant setting.
Larry is available as a soloist, with an ensemble, or a full orchestra. He is also available for musical and voice coaching or instruction, and for orchestral arrangements.
About Larry
Larry moved to Florida from New York in 2000 and served as entertainment director and jazz ensemble leader at the Waterford Hotel in North Palm Beach until 2004. Prior to moving to Florida, from 1998 to 1999, he was the featured singer/jazz pianist at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.
Also an accomplished arranger, Larry was commissioned to write orchestral arrangements for the dance orchestra on the new Walt Disney cruise ships in 1998.
In the 1980s and 90s, Larry served as leader/musical director in a variety of settings, including several distinguished hotels and cruise lines. These venues include the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown, NY; the Hyatt Ravinia Hotel in Atlanta, where he led an 18-piece orchestra for four years; and Holland America, Crystal Harmony and Norwegian Cruise Lines.
He also served as entertainment director for five hotels managed by the Otter Corporation, a hotel management company.
In the 1970s, Larry was the first singer and featured artist with the Kirby Stone Four in Las Vegas. He also was entertainment director for Kendall Lakes Country Club in Miami. |
